COVID-19 Update
Our Commitment
As we all face the realities of the COVID-19 outbreak, we remain committed to the health and safety of our team members, their families, and our business partners, while doing what we can to stop the spread of the virus by following the daily guidance from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local public health authorities.
Over the past several weeks, Granite’s COVID-19 Response Team has been meeting daily, building protocols, and taking action to help keep our employees, business partners, and the communities where we live and work safe. In addition to implementing increased safety measures at Granite jobsites and offices, we are also:
-
Working closely with our clients to ensure our infrastructure projects are moving forward and that we are prepared to respond appropriately to this extremely dynamic situation.
-
Encouraging employees who can, to work from home while supporting them with robust technology solutions.
-
Canceling or postponing all non-essential business travel, including conference and meeting attendance.
-
Providing ongoing information and guidance to employees that is in alignment with guidance from the CDC.
-
Donating N-95 respirators to local hospitals and first responders.
Our infrastructure projects are critical to the communities that they serve, and Granite remains committed to delivering our work to owners to the best of our abilities. As we learn more over the coming hours, days and weeks, we want to reassure you that Granite will continue to take responsible actions for our employees, communities, and business partners so that together we can do our part to help contain this virus.
