Granite Awarded $441 Million Joint Venture Design-Build Transit Project in Washington D.C.
The joint venture team will be responsible for the replacement of the existing Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge over the Anacostia River in
The project is designed to transform South Capitol Street into a scenic boulevard with increased pedestrian and vehicular safety, multimodal transportation options, community accessibility and support economic development consistent with overall the Anacostia Waterfront Initiative.
Construction is scheduled to begin in July 2017 and conclude in December 2021.
