Granite Construction Acquires Bay Area Asphalt Producer

WATSONVILLE, Calif., June 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Granite Construction Incorporated (NYSE: GVA) today announced that it has acquired certain assets of Raisch Products, a leading asphalt concrete manufacturer in the Santa Clara County market. The assets will be operated by the Bay Area Branch of Granite Construction Company, a wholly owned subsidiary. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
