Granite Earns ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 Certification for Project Management and Construction Activities

WATSONVILLE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Granite Construction Incorporated (NYSE: GVA) announced today that it has earned ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certifications for its project management and construction activities on designated projects in its Large Project Group.

ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 are well-known international standards for quality and environmental management systems that represent state-of-the art practices for companies to manage their quality and environmental objectives and responsibilities. NSF International Strategic Registrations, an accredited third-party organization, issued the certificates after auditing Granite’s management system at the corporate and project level and verifying that it conforms to the requirements specified in the standards.
