Granite Wins Gold for 2020 Annual Report
Granite is thrilled to announce that its 2020 Annual Report has received a Gold Award from MerComm as part of their 2021 Annual Report Competition (ARC). Granite's 2020 Annual Report embodies a turn to a new era for the company after an unprecedented year.
"We are honored that our annual report has been recognized with this ARC Gold Award," said Granite Vice President of Investor Relations Mike Barker. "The report showcases our new executive management team, refreshed core values, and positive outlook. With our 100th anniversary approaching, Granite is focused on growth and expansion while continuing to build better together."
Highlights of the report include the changes to our executive leadership team—including the appointment of Kyle Larkin as Granite President (now President and CEO)—a refreshed set of core values and the prioritization of the health and safety of our Granite team members, their families, and our business partners in response to COVID-19.
The International Annual Report Competition is recognized as the "Academy Awards of annual reports" by the financial media. Acknowledged across the world, the awards establish the highest standard among the annual report industry. It is the world's largest international competition honoring excellence in annual reports. The competition is open to public and private corporations, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and associations. Winning an ARC Award is one of the leading accolades in the investor relations industry.
This is Granite's second Gold recognition by MerComm, previously winning in 2020 the annual Sustainability Report.
