Granite Files Form 8-K to Present Selected Historical Financial Information Related to Realigned Business Segments

WATSONVILLE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Granite Construction Incorporated (NYSE:GVA) announced today that it has filed a Form 8-K to present selected historical financial information related to its realigned business segments.

As previously announced, the company changed its reportable business segments to align with its lines of business rather than its geographies, as it has been in recent history. Effective with reporting first quarter 2010 financial results, the company's new reportable segments are: Construction, Large Project Construction, Construction Materials and Real Estate.

Granite will release its first quarter 2010 financial results on Monday, May 3, 2010, after the market closes.
